Job Description:

Sign on Bonus up to $5,000 for eligible applicants

Relocation Bonus available up to $5,000 for eligible applicants

Location: 895 Howard Gap Road; Fletcher, NC 28732

Shift: MOn-Fri 8am-5pm

  • Answers a high volume of inbound calls, averaging 80-130 calls per day.

  • Responds to calls politely, professionally, and efficiently.

  • Maintains a calm demeanor while handling stressful interactions, and troubleshoots problems and concerns.

  • Accesses a variety of resources for accurate, complete, and appropriate management of calls.

  • Assists callers and patients with needs such as selecting providers, scheduling appointments, and preparing patients for their first appointment.

  • Schedules new and established patient appointments and assists patients with patient portal access.

  • Communicates prescription refill requests and other messages to clinic staff. Develops an excellent working relationship with departments, clinic, and medical staff to facilitate patient communication and care.

  • Maintains a strong working knowledge of all computer systems and communication tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 

  • Excellent Customer Service skills; [Required]

  • Strong computer skills; [Required]

  • Excellent English communication and writing skills; [Required]

  • Proficiency in a second language; [Preferred]

  • Experience with internet-based applications; [Required]

  • Knowledge of and experience with electronic medical records programs; [Required]

  • Call center/Clinic telephony experience; [Required]

  • Call Center experience; [Preferred]

Education:

  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Field of Study:

  • N/A

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of in-clinic experience as certified medical assistant [Required]
